Funeral Details

The funeral is on Wed 19th April.

The timeline will look a little like this -

12.00pm meet at Cricklade RFC (Fairview pitch car park) to walk the High Street 

13.00pm Wootton Bassett Bassett Crematorium

14.00pm Wake at The White Hart Cricklade

No Black, casual ideally rugby shirt and jeans

It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the news that Pete Clements passed away last Friday evening.

Pete payed for Devizes during the late 70's and the 80's and was a prominent member of Devizes RFC.

After Devizes Pete went on to join Cricklade RFC where he became chairman and was the driving force behind club improvements there.

Commenting on the versatile Pete Clements on his stirling performance at No.8 against REME Aborfield in a cup game as probably the smallest No.8 in Wiltshire: experts on the touch-line reckoned,

"He doesn't run through his opponents - he runs under them"

Our thoughts are with Hayley, Rhys, Holly and all of Pete's family.
